Chong Li Tung (鍾佳彤), a Malaysian contemporary composer and cross-media visual artist, was born in Penang, Malaysia and began studying piano at the age of five. She attended Jit Sin Independent High School before majoring in Theory and Composition at Chinese Culture University under Professor Wen Tze Lu. In 2024, she studied for one semester as an exchange student at Yeungnam University in South Korea under Professor Lim Ju Seub. Her compositions span orchestral, chamber, electronic, and cross-media works, often paired with Nanyang-inspired watercolor art reflecting Malaysia's multicultural heritage. In 2025, she participated in NSO's International Composer Workshop.
